MSOA 079 Title: Unselfishness When Being Hurt

Ladies & Gentlemen,

In the name of Almighty, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Peace, Mercy & Blessings of Almighty be upon you.

Selfishness from being hurt or abused appears as a normal and rational response. Selfishness from being hurt or abused is instinctive.

When we suffer physical pain, we instinctively grab ourselves as a self-protective measure. In much the same way, we instinctively grab ourselves when we suffer emotional hurt or abuse. Although becoming selfish when we get hurt is instinctive, to remain selfish causes to grieve.

Almighty is with us at all times. Almighty hurts with us. Almighty grieves with us. In addition, Almighty experiences our joy and our elation. Almighty is in our every moment.

Selfishness grieves because when we are selfish for any reason, we take ourselves away from Almighty. When we are hurt or abused we instinctively turn selfish. When we are selfish then our selfishness does not bring Almighty’s healing love to us.

Our selfishness only makes our hurt and abuse worse. Although it may never seem natural, we must take every hurt to Almighty. Although it may never seem natural, we are to take every moment of our pain to Almighty.

Because Almighty loves us, we can trust Almighty like we trust no other. Because Almighty loves us, we can trust Almighty so much we can place all of our life, even our hurt and abuse, in Almighty’s hands.

Please pray for peace in the world, I pray for you each day In Almighty’s love & grace. Our Lord The All-Hearing, we love you. We are grateful for the abundance we create. Our words cannot express our thankfulness and gratitude for what you have done for us all the days of our life, to you we give thanks, glory, and honor this hour. In your love and grace, please help us start a new day with your ever-listening power.

Aameen.

Key Insight:

Selfishness may be instinctive when we are hurt, but it distances us from Almighty’s healing love. True healing begins when we surrender our pain to Almighty, trusting His compassion to transform grief into peace.

Spiritual Reflection
When we suffer pain or abuse, our instinct is to protect ourselves by turning inward. Yet selfishness only deepens the wound, isolating us from Almighty’s love. Almighty grieves with us, hurts with us, and rejoices with us. By placing our pain in His hands, we open ourselves to His healing presence. Unselfishness in suffering is not weakness — it is faith, allowing Almighty’s mercy to turn despair into hope.

Jawenday Rahoo, Wasday Rahoo, Hasday Rahoo — may Almighty’s mercy inspire us to rise above selfishness in hurt, and may His love bring healing to every heart burdened by pain.
